Great Food in Phuket!

We took a short break from our Phuket trip videos while we were diving in Lembeh and attending the DEEP Indonesia 2009 show in Jakarta.
Now that we’re back, we’re picking up with our Phuket footage, starting with a video about food.
If you’re a fan of Thai food (we don’t know anyone who isn’t), you’ll want to watch this. We eschewed (ooohhh…big word) fancy restaurants and went for local establishments, on the theory that most visitors to Phuket would have a difficult time finding the places we know and love (and also, because fancy restaurants were out of our budget).
In any case, in this video, we’ve highlighted 10 of our top choices for excellent local venues to visit in Phuket if you’re so inclined.
Don’t worry…if you see something you want to try, you won’t have to scramble to write everything down.
We’ve put together a handy reference guide in downloadable PDF format with all the restaurants in this video…including maps on how to get there, photos of some of the food items, prices (accurate as of when we ate there), and a proprietary spiciness rating chart to help you assess how much beer you’ll need to quaff in order to douse the flames.
