Donald Duck is Watching

For this first series of video clips, we took a short trip on M/V Dive Asia 1, cruising to the Similan Islands from Chalong Bay in Phuket.

The boat was brand-spanking new; the crew was awesome; the weather was good; and the diving conditions were excellent.

There was, however, quite a bit of wind, as you’ll see/ hear in the video. We did our best to stay out of the wind (including recruiting a number of human wind-shields), but there’s only so much you can do with limited time on the top deck of a boat in the middle of the ocean, so we apologise for the sound interference.

In this first episode, we originally planned for Tony to talk about diving in the Similans. What we didn’t realise was that Tony hadn’t dived in the area for over ten years, and therefore knew next to nothing about the location. So, we had to recruit Plub and Ake…both avid divers and popular radio DJs at Chill 89 fm in Bangkok…to explain to Tony what he’s supposed to explain.
