WHO WE ARE
Aquaventures PNG is a PADI Gold Palm Resort Facility located by the waters edge. Our well-equipped dive centre offers professional guidance for both novice and experienced divers, and our dive staff ensure divers leave with great memories of clear warm waters, colourful coral reefs, wrecks and prolific marine life of all shapes and sizes.
We offer year-round shore-based diving and liveaboard adventures onboard our 12.5-metre custom-built catamaran between April to October and surfing trips from November to March.
Based at Jais Aben Resort which is right in the middle of Madang lagoon, there is easy access to world-class diving right on our very doorstep.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT US?
With over 20 years of experience diving around PNG, we know the conditions and where to find the best stuff that divers and snorkellers want to see. We offer both shore-based and liveaboard excursions which provides unique options for visitors to explore the best of PNG. Dive, surf, snorkel or just relax!
The dive centre is located by the waters edge with local dive sites only a 15-minute boat ride away. Our services are comfortable and convenient. Free shore diving is also available when booking dive packages.
Diving is primarily drift diving along outer walls and through passage breaks in the reef. Expect schools of barracuda, jacks and other exciting pelagic encounters; plenty of macro opportunities including mandarinfish right in front of the dive centre, great corals and interesting wrecks including a WWII American B25 Mitchell Bomber! What you won't see is heaps of other divers!
While Madang's marine diversity is world-renowned, the hospitality of locals also add to the overall PNG experience. When not diving, guests can experience a traditional Sing Sing or take a stroll through the village and get a taste of the local traditional lifestyle.
Alternatively, take a canoe and explore the area. The options are only limited by your sense of adventure!
