Special attractions

  • SAHAUNG
The underwater topography is suspenseful with its combination of plateau rock formation and coral reefs. A majority of the rocks are covered in soft corals as well as orange and brown daisy corals corals. With a moderate current and daisy coral open, Sahaung looks like a blooming flower garden. A variety of hard corals such as table corals can also be seen. Large gorgonian fans are host to featherstars and various marine life such as stingrays, batfish, snappers, triggerfish, scorpionfish. There is also a chance to spot pigmy seahorses. Under the table corals, white tip reef sharks can be seen occasionally.

  • PULISAN
Located off the coast of North Sulawesi, small rocks breaking the surface can be seen from the boat. The dive starts along a gentle sandy slope with sponges and soft corals. Diving further, the slope gets steeper, and gradually changes into a wall (5-22 metres) with colourful soft corals and gorgonian fans hosting featherstars covering it. Ascending from the dive, a slope at 8 metres leads to a beautiful top reef with plenty of small fish, nudibranchs, shrimps and crabs. Waspfish, Spanish dancer, hermit crabs, frogfish and ornate ghost pipefish may also turn up and provide a pleasant surprise.

  • AER BANUA SATU
Located on Talisei Island, an abundance of colorful soft and hard corals can be found at four metres. Ten metres down, the coral garden changes into a steep slope with hard corals and white sand in between. Gorgonian fans, whip and soft corals can be seen at 20 metres. Grouper, sweet lips, triggerfish, surgeonfish, dart fish, blennies, gobies, butterfly fish, snappers, various anemones hosting clownfish are also regulars. Occasionally, banded sea snakes can be found on the top reef. With little current, napoleon wrasses, turtles, schools of snappers and jack fish can also be observed.
