Meet Nus

Nus is the resort manager at Kasawari Lembeh Resort. He’s also a local diving legend, as he was one of the first divemasters in the Lembeh area, recruited and trained by Larry Smith.

A wet and happy Nus

Nus has found himself looking for paperclips and staples more than he has for frogfish and mimic octopuses in recent days, as the minutiae of office work has tied him down.

Being the considerate people we are, we obviously teased and taunted him about his dried-out gills.

No longer able to resist his primal urge to dive, Nus finally had a chance to jump back in the water with us a couple of days ago…much to his delight.
