The divers of Sea Paradise Thailand, who are our friends and frequent contributors to FiNS Magazine, have just published their second “101 Best Dives” book. Covering 240 pages, this wonderful hand-illustrated book contains logbook-style entries from 101 of the most memorable dives that members of the group have done throughout the Indonesia archipelago.
Perhaps motivated in part by the Pixar/ Disney animated hit Finding Nemo, Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is listing clownfish as a protected species for six Andaman coastal provinces — Krabi, Phangnga, Phuket, Ranong, Trang and Satun. Read more…

Partipicants at Canon Digital Duo seminar on 20 April were treated to fantastic images, videos and stories from Eric Cheng and Tony Wu — two of the world’s most prominent Asian marine photographers.
Well known for their breaching (leaping out of the water), humpback whales make spectacular photo subjects, and Tony certainly had some incredible photos of these majestic creatures. Tony also shared some of his work from his recent trip to the Komodo Islands. Read more…
