20 New Shark Species Discovered
A five-year survey of catches in Indonesia has revealed at least 20 new species of sharks and rays. The survey, led by Australia’s national science agency the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), is part of a project toward the development of a National Plan of Action for sharks and rays in Indonesia.
