If you’re into macro life and looking for a relatively unexplored destination with seemingly unlimited macro subjects to choose from, consider visiting Alotau in Papua New Guinea. The first DiveFilm Video Podcast episode was published on iTunes on 5 December 2005. The first video-capable iPods had just been released by Apple a month earlier, and it was clear that this was going to be a significant development. Within a couple of months, the DiveFilm podcast became the first-and-only featured video podcast at iTunes dedicated to the underwater world.

Now 34 episodes later, some of the best underwater video being produced today is available to viewers who might not otherwise come across this kind of work, thanks to the many underwater filmmakers who have contributed their work so generously to this effort, and those who have helped support this project through their websites and blogs.
